sketcher, was listed as W. Ghislin in the second edition of the catalogue of the 1866 Melbourne Intercolonial Exhibition, the artist and exhibitor of two 'crayon’ (pastel) drawings, Profile of a Lady and Flower and Fruit Stand . This is undoubtedly the same artist as 'Alexander H. Ghistin’ in the first edition. (Unfortunately, as was pointed out at the time, the second edition of the catalogue was no more accurate than the first.) Both artists were described as residents of Geelong, the latter of Villamanta Street.
