'The Open Stage’ was the performance space purpose built for Melbourne State College c 1974 when the Arts/Crafts Education building was constructed at Swanston St Carlton.
Used by Lecturers and Students enrolled in teacher training courses at MCAE: Fine Arts, Crafts, Technology, Media, Performing Arts.
