Painter, printmaker, stained-glass artist, illustrator and poster designer. He was profoundly influenced by York Minster with its medieval glass and music, he studied at the Scarborough Art School and won a scholarship to the Slade, London. Posters for Queensland Government Tourist Agency are known.
