Painter of Irish origin, Duke produced numerous portraits, landscapes and lithographs. He also worked extensively as a scenery painter for various theatrical companies in Australia and New Zealand.

  • IFoundLucy Nov. 18, 2018 I have discovered William's daughter Lucy is buried in Bairnsdale Cemetary. She married a Chinese immigrant and moved to the goldfields. William is my mother, Emily Duke's great grandfather. (Charles Duke's line)
