professional photographer, was working in Sydney at 3 Edward Street, in 1857. The following year M. (sic) Gow was listed as manager of the Australian Photography Gallery at 253 George Street, the initial being most likely a misprint for 'W’ or for 'Messrs’, ie William and David Gow .
