Originally for King George VI’s visit, on his death rededicated to the memory of George V & VI.
Bronze gates w/ sculptor Lyndon Dadswell feature royal crests in Epstein’s minimal linework.
Unlocked with ceremonial key bearing mural crown from City of Sydney’s arms by Queen Elizabeth II on 5 Feb 1954.

Also: memorial tablet with inscription & mosaic fountain with Aboriginal motifs.
