Biography

Regionally based senior artist with over 40 years experience in the visual arts, Engelman has received over 20 art awards including the prestigious Lorenzo il Magnifico Award 2007 (Florence Italy) 5th Premio Pittura. Exhibited at the Holdsworth Galleries in Woollahra for many years, she is represented in international and national collections, has been included in several anthologies and developed and co-ordinated several public arts projects. A 30 year Survey of Engelman's work was held in Gallery One, Orange Regional Gallery in December 2010. Founding member of Wilderists, artists in the wild; Orange Art Trail; Colour City Creatives Inc, a community artspace, Orange, NSW. Engelman studied the Diploma of Fine Arts at Mitchell College of Advanced Education in Bathurst.
