Tim Welfare is a artist, teacher and curator.
He has directed and produced over 30 major projects for multi media group Scratch My Nose, whose work has been shown internationally and locally. These works include street art and grafitti campaigns, regular radio programs for FBI in Sydney and WFMU in New Jersey USA, performance and film works.
He has curated independently a number of major exhibitions including video art work exhibition 'boo australia' at the Matucana 100 in Santiago Chile in 2012. He also curated 'Middle East Talent Time' in conjuction with dLux Media Arts which screened at the Sydney Opera House and Auckland New Zealand in 2006. This included works of artists from the Middle East and it's dystopia including artist in residence from Lebanese video artista and curator Akram Zaatari. He also was involved in a number of projects while residing in Beirut Lebanon (2001-2004)including 'Muppet Talent Time' multi media exhibition which included the works of the Kingpins, Shaun Gladwell, Frankenskippy and Justice Yeldham.
