Alice Mary Livesey was born in 1928. Sh was a china painter, potter, watercolorist, printmaker and teacher. She exhibited with the Western Australian Women's Society of Fine Arts and Crafts. In 1968 and 1969 Livesey won the watercolour prize in the 'Guild of Undergraduates' exhibition at University of Western Australia.
