A large scale projection art event held annually in Melbourne, as well as other cities around the world. This event attracts 500,000 people into Melbourne for one night only, and employs local, national, and international artists. The event usually consists not just of projection art, but other forms of public art and performance.
A public digital art event held in 2016 created to coincide with the World Science Festival, Brisbane. Entire laneways were lit up with interactive artworks derived from scientific themes.
ACM MM is the Association of Computing Machinery’s annual multimedia conference. In many years the ACMMM has also held an art exhibition to showcase artists working with new computer technology.
In 2015 artists were also able to publish academic papers through ACM about their artworks and the technology used within them.
