Antoanetta Ivanova is a multi-award winning curator and producer with specialisation in the creative industries and cultural diplomacy. She has realised over 70 exhibitions and programs, many promoting Australian media and contemporary arts internationally. She is Associate Senior Curator, Museum of Contemporary Art Taipei, Taiwan.

Major exhibitions include: Wonderland: New Contemporary Art from Australia, Museum of Contemporary Art, Taipei (2012); Encoded, Art Taipei, Taipei Worlds Trade Centre (2010); Impact by DegreesĀ°, Embassy of Australia, Washington, USA (2009); Strange Attractors: charm between art and science, Zendai Museum of Modern Art, Shanghai, China (2006), The Millennium Dialogue, Millennium Monument Art Museum, Beijing, China (2005); Unnatural Selection, Ars Electronica, Linz, Austria (2004); Re*activate!, State Library of Victoria, Melbourne/Art Gallery of South Australia, Adelaide (2004/2005); oZone, Centre Pompidou, Paris, France (2003); and Wild: the natural environment and the digital wilderness, Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery, Hobart (2002).

Ivanova has worked as co-founder and Director, Novamedia Ltd; Executive Director, Biennale of Electronic Arts Perth; Board Member, Australian Network for Art and Technology, and Executive Producer of the international digital culture conferences: GameTime, Australian Centre for the Moving Image, Melbourne (2004), and Streaming Wor(l)ds, MelbourneDAC, RMIT University, Melbourne (2003). Curator-in-Residence awards include: Asialink/MOCATaipei, Taiwan; UNESCO Suomennlina Residence, Helsinki, Finland, and Danish Arts Council, Copenhagen, Denmark.

Ivanova established and is the Executive Producer of the Australian program at Ars Electronica’s FutureLab, and an international adviser to agIdeas Design Week, Melbourne. She holds degrees in Fine and Media Arts, and Master of Diplomacy and Trade, Monash University, Melbourne; is a published author and an expert speaker on wide-ranging Art-Science-Technology topics.
