A 10m long digital scroll on a series of LCD panels with a continuous series of text and characters which move in relation to pedestrian traffic, examines traditional themes of transcendence in both Mandarin and English.

In this very widescreen work, rows of varying depths featuring still images of Sydney travel horizontally in opposite directions, come momentarily to rest and then glide on with a liquid restlessness which is occasionally heightened by a distorting watery bubble pulsing out of an image. With its ethereal sound score, #capillary is an engaging meditation on a multi-faceted city.

le_temps is an ambitious visualisation project that responds to both these contemporary phenomena. In its final form it will be a large-scale projection work which attempts to collate and present a large quantity of digital images that show phenological events. Phenology is the study of recurring biological events in the animal and plant world.
le_temps refigured was an entirely reworked installation, using new display content, new mechanism for rendering images and an image credit display.
plasma_flow is a spectacular large-scale interactive projected installation and uses adaptive surround sounds to reinforce the user experience of interacting with a cloud of highly charged particles. The installation will emulate a Fluid/Particle system and is accessible for real time interactive via a series of Infrared light sensitive cameras, capturing input from participants as they traverse the space.
The emergence of mediated_moments form a scalable potential of urban media that weaves into the urban social fabric, mapping and visualizing individual’s “unconcious” thinking/intelligence onto a mixed-reality urban canvass. For mediated_moments, the crowd generated content forms a new genre – “city film”, city story telling by the city dwellers themselves.

This work explores the historical, theoretical and philosophical threads that influenced the substance of the artwork. Further to this is an explicit attempt to forge the premise, that the process of constructing interactive media art objects is to engage in an associative construction or a metacreation. Where the content and the conceptual rhizomophic networks fuse to form a digital rhizome.
