Edward Hill was a cabinet maker who established a furniture manufacturing operation in Devonshire Street, Surry Hills NSW. The company was known as Edward Hill & Co. from 1917-1964. The building is occupied by the Hughes Gallery (formerly the Ray Hughes Gallery).
