Worsley studied at Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, later becoming the principal of Stuart Furniture, Melbourne, a retailer of modernist furniture and furnishings. His work was illustrated in the "Industrial Design" section of the Arts Festival held during the 1956 Olympic Games, Melbourne. He had an extensive career as a design educator, foundation member of the Society of Designers for Industry and Fellow of the DIA.
