sketcher, lived with her family at Park Farm, Jericho, Van Diemen’s Land, before marrying John Frederick Haller in January 1844. She then went to live in Hobart Town where her husband ran a store on the old wharf. Her two known pencil drawings (c.1845, Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery, Hobart, Tas.), View in Van Diemen’s Land (two cows feeding from a trough set among trees) and a group of trees, presumably relate to her parental home. Both are competent sketchbook works 'from nature’. After their only son died in 1853, the Hallers left Tasmania with their two daughters. Emma died on 23 May 1869 and John Frederick died on 29 March 1886 in East Melbourne, Victoria.
