Alexander Blair and Roger Quinn established a furniture firm in 1966. By 1967, the partnership was dissolved and it was renamed Alexander Blair & Associates. The firm's furniture was used for styling selected Pettit and Sevitt project homes. In the mid-1970s, his spouse Heather Blair joined the firm and they began practising as Profile Designs (interior design). The firm closed in 1983.
