Half Dozen was a curatorial collaboration that presented an annual event of six exhibitions, utilising varied venues around Sydney, Bangkok and Beijing from 2004 to 2006. The exhibitions were curated by guest curators and by four directors, being Jasper Knight, Dr Dougal Philips, Dr David Teh, & Dr Oliver Watts.

The exhibiting works all engaged in various ways with the surrounding Gardens and the Domain.

Description

A Half Dozen video screening event curated by Half Dozen director David Teh and Thomas Berghuis. A two night screening of Australian video art, which included The Late Sessions (curated by Soda_Jerk) and highlights from Newcastle’s Electrofringe Festival (2003-2004). The Australian video works were matched with a selection of new and recent screen-based works from China.
