King Furniture was founded in Sydney in 1977 by the King family. Initially, the furniture sold through a city marketplace later moving to a King Furniture Showroom in Sydney. Working from a manufacturing base in Camperdown, now offshore, the firm commissions furniture designs from internal and external designers. Catering to domestic and international markets, they have received national design awards since 1985.
