Van Treight was a furniture design and manufacturing firm producing work with Scandinavian overtones as well as lines of period furniture often described as "colonial". They begin to advertise in the Canberra Times as early as 1961 illustrating work in timber with contemporary lines. They sold through the department stores and manufactured the USA-based Drexel furniture under licence. In 1969, their address was Homebush, NSW.
