Hunt, Son and Oliver Pty Ltd, Rupert Street, Collingwood is described as a large Melbourne furniture manufacturer in 1937. Their work is characterised by solid timber supports and (at times exotic) veneer surfaces. A "Contour" style plywood armchair is also known.Some of their earlier work featured shallow ornamental carving. In 1952, they released a Space for Living line without ornamental treatment.
