Jon Golder is a furniture designer and maker. He established his own studio in Gerringong, NSW in 2000. Goulder believes in the value of having a strong skills base, making his own prototypes and much of his production range. Among his designs are the upholstered Calypso Lounge (2007) and the Leda Seat, which is manufactured by Woodmark International in Sydney. In 2007 Golder worked on the Designing Futures project in WA, and in the same year his work was exhibited in the 'Smart works, design and the handmade’ exhibition at the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney.
