J. S. Robinson is identified as a furniture designer, maker and joinery specialist in 1936. The firm was working from 60 Burwood Road, Belmore and is described as a designer/maker of "ecclesiastic and artistic furniture" in an advertisement in Atelier, May 1936, p.29. Selected commissions include Wesley Chapel, Bishopsgate Chapel and St Andrews, all in Sydney and suburbs.
