K.R. Devling is described as the designer of a cantilevered steel tubing chair (in the Breuer Cesca style), manufactured by Tubesteel Equipment, 14 St Francis Street, Melbourne ca.1948. Nanette Carter reports "The company K. R. Devling began to advertise tubular steel furniture made with Healing’s “unrivalled bent tube frames” in 1937."
