Lindsay Vickery is a music composer and performer. He has made work for acoustic and electronic instruments in interactive, improvised or fully notated settings, ranging from solo pieces to opera and interactive video. He has performed in Holland, Poland, Norway, Germany, England, the Phillipines, the USA and across Australia. He has received commissions from a variety of groups and has been artist-in-residence at STEIM (NLD), HarvestWorks (NYC), LACMA (LA), the University of Illinois and the MATA festival (NY). He was a founder member of the music groups Magnetic Pig, GRIT, HEDKIKR and the LA-based multimedia group Squint. In 2002 Vickery participated in the 'BioFeel’ exhibition at the Biennale of Electronic Arts Perth. At this time he was lecturing at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts in Perth.
