Mac West b. 1 January 1952

West was a furniture designer/maker initially working in the ACT with workshops in Queanbeyan. West attended the Canberra School of Art. In the 1980s, he was in partnership with Graham Peterkin who trained at the Makepeace School, UK. West became the first president of the ACT Woodcraft Guild in 1985. He was associated with Finedesign Furniture and Designcraft.
