Milo Dunphy b. 1921

Milo Dunphy was an architect in Sydney and a pioneer of Sydney's nature conservation movement. During the 1960s he chaired the RAIA NSW Environment Committee and in 1972 he became the founding director of the Total Environment Centre. He is also known for first explaining 'the Sydney School' of organic (site-specific) regional modern ('nuts and berries') architecture, in an article published in 1962.
