Furniture manufacturing business set up by Eric Stokes in 1954. Stokes and his wife, Constance had seen outdoor furniture made plastic piping stretched over a metal frame, in Italy in 1953. On his return Eric started making tables and chairs in the sheds at his poultry farm in Croydon, Victoria.After the advent of television in 1956 Tv dinner tables were added to the range.
