Sandra Aitken is of Gunditjmara descent and was taught weaving by her aunt, Connie Hart, in the early 1990s. Aitken paints, screenprints and is also known as a tapestry worker. She has passed her weaving skills on to her daughters and nieces. She lives and works in Victoria.
