Description

This exhibition highlighted the complexity of the state’s role in policing the content of publications and how Australian publishers have deliberately challenged the boundaries imposed by authorities. The exhibition incorporated books from the University of Melbourne collections and private collections, as well as artists’ representations responding to this theme.
