caricaturist and journalist, was born in NZ. With no formal art training, he became an itinerant caricaturist and journalist working and exhibiting in Australia in 1934-36. His work also appeared in American magazines, including Fortune , Town and Country and Vogue . He wrote and illustrated Africa , I Presume? (Macmillan, NY 1948).
