Amelia Rowe is based in Northern Tasmania and uses sculpture and installation to respond to those living within the West Tamar Valley, whom, as the artist states
'recognise, acknowledge and embrace the potential of their region, their local communities, the surrounding landscape and importantly the individuals. Similar to topiarists, the people living within regional communities can be admired for strong, sensitive commitment to their long-term future plans whilst not forgetting the importance of tradition and local history.’ http://www.artentwine.com/#!amelia-rowe/c11nd

Her first solo exhibition was in 2012 at BRAVE art Gallery Longford, Tasmania.
