Dybka was a London-trained artist with later studies in Melbourne at the National Gallery school and George Bell. She worked in ceramics and glass for Guy Boyd, Crown Crystal Glass (Sydney) and European firms. Best known for her work in glass engraving, she also worked in ceramics and mosaic. She formed a studio with Vladimir Tichy ca.1969 working as Studio Dybka Tichy producing commercial scale ceramic murals.
