Cecily Adams

Adams was the senior decorator at Beard Watsons, Sydney, later in private practice in Castlecrag. She was one of the founding members of the SIDA in 1951. Adams was educated in Melbourne and relocated to Sydney where she studied art at the East Sydney Technical College. Her book, From the Diary of an Australian Decorator. Child and Henry, 1986 is a memoir of her career in interior design.
