He immigrated to Australia ca.1937 and worked as an artist/illustrator for The Argus, Melbourne, later established a business in Sydney, Industrial Styling Company, Australasia, later his son Peter Beauvais continued the firm as Beauvais Associates, later Beauvais Displays.
