White was a 20th century Melbourne painter, illustrator and advertising artist who operated The Commercial Art School, 226 Little Collins Street, Melbourne. White provided drawings for "The Anzac Book" as early as 1915 and published a magazine, The Art Student [ca.1930].

painter and advertising artist; studied National Gallery of Victoria Schools. During WWI (in which he was awarded the Military Cross), he contributed drawings to the Anzac Book . He conducted an art school in Melbourne c.1925-35.
