Douglas Cowell

  • Designer (Architect / Interior Architect / Landscape Architect)
Cowell was the supervisor of the interior design department of Bebarfalds. In the 1930s, the furniture department provided interior sketch plans & ground plans for interiors. They also published a residential design book, "Safe Home Planning" in 1927, produced a "Colour Ensemble Furnishing Chart" & hosted a household advice 2KY radio programme. In 1938, the designer was a director of a new decorating firm Bear & Co., Sydney.
