McDiarmid’s second one-person show 'Trade enquiries’, was held at Hogarth Galleries, Sydney, in 1978, and featured collaged and offset printed works drawing on hyper-masculine images of American gay male visual identity: ‘clones’, lumberjacks and cowboys.
