Pastels, Julian Ashton, Florence Rodway, National Gallery of NSW, Loan Exhibition 1918

This is a pastel by Florence Rodway exhibited at the National Art Gallery of NSW in 1918 as part of a Loan Exhibition of Australia Artists. It is titled: The Blue Band and was loaned by Julian Ashton to the gallery. My family acquired it at some point (either by John Latimer Irwin or Eleanor Irwin) and it has been in the family ever since. Recently restored.

Note: Inherited artwork
