Frederick Sterne

  • Designer (Architect / Interior Architect / Landscape Architect)
Trained in Germany, Prague & Vienna in "civil architecture" and interior design. He arrived in Australia ca.1938 and worked with the architect Leighton Irwin's. 1947, began teaching at Melbourne Technical College in architecture, furniture design, interior design, design & construction. By 1948 he was a full-time senior lecture and initiated the 4-year Interior Design Diploma.
