Berry (nee McCann) began her studies in 1975 when she studied part-time for a Diploma in Arts Studies at Balga Technical College, Perth (now North Metropolitan TAFE). She was active in watercolour, usually working from nature.

Description

The Fairview Private Art Collection is housed in a historic Queen Anne Federation villa located within Subiaco’s historic Chester’s estate and built in 1915 for John Kennedy, a Scottish Ice Engineer who ran the Perth Ice Works. The collection has a focus on South Australian and West Australian artists from the 1850s to present day. A 48-page illustrated catalogue was published.
