Kral was a designer initially active in Melbourne where he was a founder member of the Gallery A commercial design team. He carried out exhibition work for the Commonwealth Department of Trade and undertook commercial interior design and display work in Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne and internationally. He was also active in the graphic arts.
