Gerd Block

Renate and Gerd Block worked in partnership as architects. In 1958, they were exhibiting furniture and lighting in "Architecture and Arts" magazine as Gerd and Renate Architects. They were among the first interior architects to design and install the "office landscape" or Bürolandschaft in Australia. Their first commission to use this design approach was the Nunawading Municipal Offices in Victoria ca.1969.
