An organisation supporting commercial art (graphic arts) and industrial design as early as 1940 in Sydney when an exhibition was held at the AWA Bldg, Sydney. Don Jordan was the vice-president in 1954, other office holders have not been identified. Its beginnings and fate has not been throughly investigated. 1940 exhibitors included R. Haughton James, Alistair Morrison, Nell Wilson, Nutter Buzacott and others.
