Founded in the last qtr of the 19th century, the Hobart Mercury reported it had 200+ employees in 1912, with outlets on the mainland supplying work in Tasmanian timbers. Their 2016 website notes the Hobart-based firm was founded in 1876 and employs 60+ people.
