Also known as MOMAD, MOMAA, Museum of Modern Art of Australia
Museum founded in Tavistock Place, Melbourne in 1956. Initially, the principals initially were John Reed, Philip Jones and Pamela Warrender. Frances Burke was involved in the organisation of the museum and promoted the incorporation of design. It lapsed in 1966.
