Ricketts & Thorpe were Sydney manufacturers of fine furniture for a range of clients. The designs were typically to the clients' specifications. They carried out work for the NSW State Government, the Commonwealth Govt and major institutions. Work was produced for designers such as Marion Hall Best, Artes Studios, Stuart Lowe Furniture Studios, Bill Greenwood, Frederick Ward, Edmund Dykes and Bill Johnstone.
