SymbioticA was established in 2000 by Oron Catts, Stuart Bunt and Miranda Grounds at the School of Anatomy and Human Biology, University of Western Australia. It is an art and science research lab that provides artists with resources and an interdisciplinary environment in which to explore scientific processes and biological technologies.
