Henry Black

Black is a furniture maker and designer. He apprenticed in woodworking at the Commonwealth Naval Dockyard, later studying at the Canberra School of Art under the late George Ingham. He was a member of the cooperative Metropolis Design Workshops, Sydney in the 1980s. Black was selected for a major furniture commission for the 1988 Parliament House, Canberra.
