painter and professional photographer, is listed as a photographer of Smith Street, East Collingwood, Melbourne, between 1867 and 1872 by Davies and Stanbury. In 1872 he was also listed at Hawthorn. He won a highly commended certificate at the 1870 Sydney Intercolonial Exhibition for an oil painting, Green Lanes, near Stoke Newington, near London , for sale at 15 guineas, which he sent from Melbourne and entered in the class of landscape painting by professional artists. He may be connected with the painter Conway Hart .
