James Ernest LENEGAN BORN 1896 in Victoria and died in 1967, aged 71 years. Vic Regn# 10247. ¶

He was a wood carver who completed work at St John the Evangelist Church, Toorak Victoria in 1934, 1937, and 1938. The reference newspaper articles are:- ¶

He created a bronze bas-relief panel which was inserted into the right side door of the SLNSW - “Mitchell Wing” – engraved, “The Medicine Man – Arundta Tribe – E.
